I haven't done our Christmas post yet, so bear with me. Clare's Birthday is Friday (2!!) and Christmas is slipping away. I'm not ready to say goodbye to Christmas this year.
We had a homebody Christmas this year and got one of the best presents ever, our first white Christmas. It started snowing while the girls were *ahem* napping *ahem* so Eric and I sat on the front porch and watched the flurries.
Then we decided we would be cool parents and wake our kids up from their nap so they could enjoy the snow. HA! They were wide awake!
We live in Texas so I was thrilled that I could find boots, coats, and hats for the girls to wear to play outside, but we didn't have any mittens. Once Maggie had been playing in the snow for a few minutes she asked to go inside, ran to her room, and came back with socks on her hands. I don't know what made her think of it, but it worked!

Clare wanted nothing to do with the snow.
So we cuddled:
Overheard:
Maggie: "Hey Dad can you make me a snowball?"
Eric: "Why?"
Maggie: "So I can throw it at you."
*Eric makes snowball*
*Eric makes snowball*
Our house the on Dec 26th!
Merry Christmas!

You need to change your fb profile pic to the one of you snuggling under the blanket watching the snow. It's my favorite :)
I still can't believe we missed it!!!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I love that Miss M wanted to make a snowball to throw at her daddy, and that he obliged. My hubby would have made a snowball and then thrown it himself at one of the boys. Maybe he'll be a little nice if we ever have a girl! :)
That's so cool that you guys got to have a white Christmas this year!! For some reason it just seems to make Christmas that much more special. And of course makes for great picture opportunities too! Glad you had a great Christmas; Happy Birthday to your baby!!
Really?? You got more snow in Texas than we did in Maryland?? Not...fair....
